Hamta Pass and Chandratal
About Hamta Pass and Chandratal
Hamta Pass is one of the most amazing treks for beginners to Himalayan trekking. The pass at an elevation of 14,280 ft has been a very old trade route, connecting Lahaul’s Chandra Valley and Kullu valley of Himachal Pradesh, India. The trek also offers a contrast from the lush green valley of Kullu to the dry and arid valley of Spiti. The visit to Chandratal Lake completes another satisfying element in terms of view to the trek. ......
